Simply remove the old strut braces and the 4 most inner bolts on the strut tower, setup the brake master cylinder brace, then place your new AEM 29-0009 FR-S/BR-Z strut tower bar in position, securing it with the 4 most inner bolts on the strut tower and making final adjustments to the brake master cylinder bracket. By utilizing the OEM mounting points, installation can be quick and easy.
During the engineering process, AEM’s engineers noticed that the brake master cylinder moved significantly when the brakes were applied during competition racing. So in addition to the solid design and custom fit, the 29-0009 strut tower bar also incorporates a brake master cylinder brace. The addition of this brace can help increase the brake pedal firmness and most importantly, make the braking performance much more predictable. In addition, this brace also eliminates the need to purchase a separate and costly billet brace.
